3 DAY FIRST AID AT WORK
This 3 day first aid at work course is fully certificated and is as much practical as it is theoretical. As well as improving confidence and knowledge this course gives learners a qualification in first aid which meets the statutory requirements of health and safety regulations 1981.
This course would suit those who work in any environment, including factories, offices and gyms. All of these sessions are taught in a relaxed, friendly environment tailored to the needs of the learner.

- Top to toe survey and recovery position
- Heart attacks, angina, stroke

On the final day of this course there are two practical assessment scenarios, successful completion of these scenarios result in a certificate that is valid for 3 years. A manual is provided with this course.

FIRST AID AT WORK REQUALIFICATION (2 DAYS)
This course is available to those who have completed the 3 day first aid at work course; it is designed to refresh those skills and add confidence to the learner as well as update the learner with any changes to first aid that may have happened over the last 3 years.
The course takes a similar path as the 3 day at work course, it has practical elements and theory and is finalised with a practical assessment.
To qualify for this your first aid at work certificate must be no more than 1 month over the expiry date.
This course covers the same syllabus as the 3 day first aid at work certificate.
This qualification lasts for 3 years and is supplied with a manual.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK (1 DAY)
When an organisations risk assessment of first aid identifies that there is a requirement for emergency first aiders in the work place then this certificated course satisfies the regulatory body for first aid and the HSE.
This 1 day EFAW course teaches both practical and theoretical sessions that will equip participants in first aid knowledge, taught in a relaxed environment and tailored to the needs of the learner.

AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION COURSE (AED) (1 DAY)
Automated External Defibrillators (AED’S) are becoming more common throughout the work place and the public.
A casualty’s survival rate dramatically increases if an AED is available and used by a qualified and confident person.
This certificated 4 hour course covers the competencies of the UK Resuscitation council.
In a relaxed and informative environment this course teaches practical skills and instils confidence in what could be a challenging situation.

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (2 DAY)
This 2 day course has been developed for those who care for children and infants. As it meets Ofsted requirements it would be beneficial to child minders, crèche assistants, teachers and anyone who has the responsibility for the welfare of a child in their care and can be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in childcare and education.
This is not just for the professional but also suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about first aid for children.

This certificated ongoing assessment course last for 2 days or can be done over 4 evenings to fit around the learner. A manual is provided and the qualification lasts for 3 years.
